Find us sometime :) FUNK Optik Munich, we are in the backyard
Since May 2022, our FUNK Optik Store Munich has been in its new home at Hohenzollernstraße 22a.
And we have to say, we feel very much at home!
We are indeed happy that we have now become a so called "Hinterhof-Butze" (backyard squad), because we finally have enough space and are a little oasis between Schwabing's old town houses.
But you have to find us first - so
--> walk through the driveway and wave to the big "Breuer lion" and you're already in our shop.
Because of the space available - approx. 160 sqm - we can finally show off our spectacle-making skills and offer made-to-measure glasses. Just as a tailor-made suit is tailored to the body, we make glasses to fit the nose exactly and also in the colour of your choice.
We have a huge glass roof at the back and a Schwabing pine tree peeking in.
The high rooms date back to 1899 and have always been home to crafts - "Kostüme Breuer" (costume rental) for the last 70 years, but they have now found space in the basement so we can move in.
We look forward to your visit to our large, new and beautiful domicile at Hohenzollernstr. 22a / Hinterhof.
