During the creative process around 20 years ago, so many different things were eaten and drunk that it acted as a creative accelerator.
Sunglasses are named after drinks, while other glasses are named after dishes from around the world or the kitchen appliances needed to make them.
Since Dieter Funk's first career aspiration was to be a chef, it was clear that at some point there would be something that could express his passion in the form of glasses.
The design of the collection, penned by Sashee Schuster and Dieter Funk – FOOD is essentially the little sister and little brother of the FUNK/SCHUSTER collection, which is manufactured in Germany.
An affordable casual collection as a ticket to the world of FUNK.
