FUNK Food goes Scandinavia
In the Funk Food kitchen, we have a visitor from Sweden this time and are making "fika" together: that means we take our time, drink coffee and spend a little break in good company. We have baked some delicious butter cocoa for the occasion! Take a seat and pluck off a snail, we'll introduce you to our latest Titan frames. All Scandinavian specialities that will make your mouth water.
The four models are specially designed for small and narrow faces! The frame and nose pads are made of filigree titanium and the temple ends are as narrow as possible for a light feel and comfort. The Nordic serene colour palette includes matt black, a warm brown, two delicate pastel shades (Pearl Rosé and Pearl Sage), a ravishingly beautiful olive green and a warm, unobtrusive gold, of which we are particularly proud. The design of the temple ends is also well thought out. Either picking up or contrasting the colour of the respective frame, a fine balance is created in each case.
Butterkaka
Butterkaka finally adds a small round to the Funk Food portfolio! Thanks to its generous bridge and adjustable pads, it sits well on almost every nose. The discreetly indicated keyhole is a sign of understatement and makes this model even more beautiful in detail. Butterkaka is Skolebroedbalanced and versatile.
Butterkaka sounds strange to us, but it is insanely delicious! Loose yeast dough, sweet almond-cinnamon filling and vanilla cream: the bun cake and is baked in a round springform pan similar to the Swedish cinnamon buns.
Lussekat
An angular double bridge that also fits narrow faces? Lussekat can do that. And the angular interpretation of a pilot is even unisex. The narrow nose bridge and the harmonious shape make it possible.
Lussekatter, by the way, are a Swedish yeast dough biscuit with saffron. Traditionally, the bright yellow, handy pastries are baked for Luciafest, a Scandinavian festival of lights in the run-up to Christmas.
Mandelkubb
The angular Mandelkubb has a decent size, but looks well-proportioned on small faces due to the narrow nose. Delicate materials and colours make it look even softer.
Bitter and sweet, they go great together! Almond kubb are a Swedish bitter almond biscuit. The square biscuits are sweetened with a good amount of hail sugar.
Skolebrød
With our new Scandinavians, the Panto must not be missing! Skolebrød is particularly well-balanced and fits narrow faces. Oval, unisex and wonderfully wearable as every-day glasses.
Skolebrød are flat yeast dough pancakes from Norway filled with vanilla cream. After baking, they are spruced up with icing and coconut flakes.
