Poi is a treat, because in the design we have let the filigree metal profile come together at the nose to let it appear doubled again at the side as a temple element. Colour-matching titanium nose pads and acetate temple ends.

Poi is the Hawaiian name for the most important Polynesian staple food which is made from the tuber of the kaloplant (better known under the name Taro). Poi is produced by pounding the boiled (or baked or steamed) tubers into a viscous mass. During the pounding process and before consumption water is added to achieve the desired consistency, which can range from liquid to doughy. liquid to pasty.
