Bee sting is a traditional sheet cake made from yeast dough with a topping made of a fat-sugar-almond mixture that caramelizes caramelized. It is often with a vanilla or creambut also fat cream. A variant is the bee sting in cake form. Bienenstich is considered a classic of German cuisine.
