Żurek (Upper Silesian: Saurer Jur; High German: Sauermehlsuppe) is a soup from the Polish cuisine from Polish cuisine flour soup on the basis of a sourdough broth. Along the Polish border it is partly known also known in Belarus, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The soup can be served with milk coloured (during Lent) or also with meat, vegetables or dry mushrooms cooked. One option is to cook them with Sausagesmoked Pork Bacon, Pork ribs or pork tails. At the end she is usually a hard-boiled Egg is usually added.
